With Christmas just around the corner again.
Here are some suggestions for the late shoppers!

A WONDERFULLY MOVING MID 15TH CENTURY ENGLISH OAK SCULPTURE OF THE BUST OF CHRIST CROWNED WITH THORNS.

Unusually, Christ, although crowned with thorns, is depicted not as the ′Man of Sorrows, but with a kindly, almost joyous facial expression. The high forehead, large eyes, forked beard and wavy hairstyle relate directly to 15th-century English Alabaster sculpture. Christ′s downward gaze indicate that the sculpture was designed to be seen from below, possible when kneeling at an altar. Extensive traces of polychrome on the underside of the bust indicate that it was not cut down from a larger figure.

A cheaper alternative is a Pair of rare Tracery Panels. circa 1500. They are 15 inches wide x 6.5 inches high
