A fine pair of early 17th century stone leopards

Originally believed to have belonged to the Sackville family these leopards represent the Sackville coat of arms. The pair of leopards has adorned the staircase and gables of the Knole House for years. In the olden times these were used only by the aristocrats on their personal heraldry and symbolized rank, status and power

This pair of leopard statues will look good in almost any setting be it guardians of the gate or an unexpected feature in the garden or on the porch etc With its rustic appeal it will adorn the contemporary homes or traditional homes with as much grace as it did in the olden times.
