Luxurious antiques created from exotic woods, with highly ornate designs full of elegance and character, is how we would like to describe our collection. We have recently added some beautiful English antique furniture options, including early antique oak furniture, country furniture, carved panels, side tables, candle stands, chests, sculptures, and a lot more.

Have a look at this gorgeous trestle table in our collection for instance. This is a beautiful late 17th Century English Oak Trestle Table. Tables in this style were popular in the Middle Ages and are still popular to date. These tables were easy to assemble or take apart, easy to carry around and store too, allowing them to be utilised in many different rooms and occasions. Trestle tables were perfect for multifunctional spaces within the home, resulting in a room that could be used as anything from a dining area to a game room or anything else as required. The versatility that this type of table provided made it the ideal occasional furniture piece.

The style is still popular today; more for aesthetic reasons than for the adaptability or ease of storage. The trestle table that we have in our collection is a beautiful example from the world of antiques. This table has a thick two plank top with cleated edges above its trestle base with mitred edges and a pegged central stretcher.

This wonderful option is one of many within our collection that is worth having a look at. Visit our website to see this lovely table and more.
