ANNA HARMAN WAS THE DAUGHTER OF SIR EDWARD ROGERS AN ENGLISH GENTLEMAN WHO SERVED AS AN OFFICER OF STATE IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES IN THE TUDOR PERIOD, HE ROSE TO BECOME CONTROLLER AND VICE CHAMBERLAIN OF THE HOUSEHOLD TO QUEEN ELIZABETH I OF ENGLAND FROM 1560-1568.
