THIS FINE 16TH CENTURY WEST COUNTRY OAK TABLE HAS A 2" THICK THREE PLANKED TOP WITH CLEATED ENDS. IT STANDS ON TWO THICK TRESTLE SUPPORTS WITH STEPPED ENDS, UNITED BY A CHAMFERED CENTRAL STRETCHER.
WONDERFUL COLOUR AND PATINATION.
ORIGINALLY FROM "LOWER HOUSE",BRANSCOMBE,DEVON,PRIOR TO ITS DEMOLOTION IN 1960 AND THEN FROM A PRIVATE ENGLISH COLLECTION.
