The candlesticks of old look elegant as well as quirky and were also superbly made. There were a number of options available such as fantastic figures or animals.

We have this classic pair of 17th Century Italian Polychromed candlesticks . This pair stands on a tri form base giving it better stability. The design is unusual and will grace a mantelpiece with utter elegance.   
  
Pewter candlesticks were popular and dated back to the beginning of the 17th Century. These typically featured a circular foot with its upper rim encircled by a deep molding to form a sort of a drip pan. The stem was usually cylindrical in shape. We have a very fine example of a 17th century pewter stick available in store.
